Music Promo

Album Art | Illustration | Animation - 2018/19

This is a collection of freelance work that I have done related to the music industry.

Run It

Sometimes you have to catch lightning in a bottle, and  that’s what this project entailed. This is a single cover I created for Hip-hop recording artist Chefkarllo, who upon hearing an amazing instrumental from legendary hip hop producer Chacethemoney (Producer of platinum hit New Freezer) immediately  laid an amazing vocal performance over the top. All that was left was to design a cover and click upload. Within a short 24 hours we’d went through multiple concepts and iterations of the cover, finalized it, and had it on the screens of listeners across the world.

Grey

Grey is a Grammy nominated electronic music duo of brothers from Los Angeles, CA. After seeing one of my personal illustrations on Reddit, Kyle reached out about doing a commission for them. This ended with me creating this vector illustration, as well has an animated version to assist in promoting their single “Want You Back”.

Langley Music Festival

The Langley Music Festival is celebration of local musical talent, regardless of genre, in the town of Langley Arkansas. What the town lacks in size, it makes up for in strong community support and enrichment. I was lucky enough to partner with the Festival to design promotional material and apparel.

Stranger

This is a single cover I created for musical artist and content creator Dylan also known as Chills. Dylan’s YouTube channel is known widely across the internet for it’s monotone delivery, overall spookiness, and that when you click on a video of his the number next to “views” is going to be 1m+.
